Southampton FC Women have made three new signings in Abbie Ferguson from Hibernian, ex-Blackburn Rovers’ Ellie Hack and Kiera Sena formerly of Cork City.
Sena is an Ireland U-19 international who plays at full-back or further forward, and already has almost 50 senior club games under her belt since making her first team debut at Cork in 2023.
Ellie Hack is signed by Simon Parker for a third time, after the centre-back previously played for the head coach at Blackburn and Lewes.
Scotland youth international midfielder Abbie Ferguson won the Scottish Women’s Premier League title with Hibs last season, during which she contributed four goals and five assists in 27 appearances and was August Player of the Month.
She has 75 senior appearances to her name already, including from spells at Celtic and on loan spell at Partick Thistle.
Ferguson told southamptonfc.com: “I’ve played in Scotland throughout my career, so I wanted to make the move [to England].
“Hopefully it will help me develop as a footballer and mature as a person – I’m really looking forward to the challenge.”
