The 2026/27 Second Round draw of the Sky Sports Cup was conducted this afternoon, live from Barclays Hampden.
Joining the Scottish Women’s Premier League to carry out the draw was Scottish FA Performance Pathways Manager and Women’s Under-23’s National Team Head Coach, Angie Hind.
The Second Round of the Sky Sports Cup involves the top six sides from this season’s Sky Sports Cup League Phase, the victorious two sides from Wednesday evening’s Sky Sports Cup Knockout Play-Offs, and the clubs that finished in positions three to six in last season’s ScottishPower Women’s Premier League.
The four SPWPL sides entering the competition for the first time this season, alongside the top two teams from this season’s League Phase, were seeded in the draw.
The draw was as follows:
Celtic v Spartans
Kilmarnock v Hibernian
Partick Thistle v Gartcairn
Livingston v Glasgow City
Motherwell v Hamilton Academical
Boroughmuir Thistle v Montrose
The Second Round ties of the competition will be played on or before Sunday 13 September.
