West Ham Women beat Brighton, Southampton edged Portsmouth in the Subway Women’s League Cup Group Stage.

Carla Camacho struck first for visitors Albion, Shekiera Martinez set up Seraina Piubel to equalise for the Hammers before the half-hour mark.

Riko Ueki picked out Martinez to score the decider with 15 minutes of the 90 remaining, as West Ham made it two wins from two in Group C.

Southampton got of the mark with a 1-0 win over south-coast rivals Portsmouth, Michaela McAlonie scoring in the first-half for the Saints.
