Michael Tuohy has named the Scotland Women Under-17s squad for the MIMA Cup in Spain.
The friendly tournament will take place in San Pedro del Pinatar from 9–14 February, with Scotland kicking off their campaign against Morocco on the first day at 1:30 pm (UK time). They’ll then face Wales or USA on Thursday, before a final game yet to be confirmed, possibly against England, Mexico, Norway, or Poland.
Head Coach Tuohy has named a 20-player squad, with Mehak Khanna, Abbie Burns, Lucy Jane Hope, Eilidh McCormack, and Freya McIndoe stepping up from the Under-16s, and Mollie Palmer earning her first Scotland call-up.
The friendly tournament will serve as preparation for Round 2 of the UEFA European Championship qualifiers in March where they’ll face Switzerland, Greece and hosts Norway as they look to secure a spot in the finals in Northern Ireland in June.
