
Scotland Women were 2-0 winners in a World Cup Qualifying Play-off Semi-final 1st Leg away to Czechia.
Caroline Weir fired Scotland ahead before the hour mark following Kathleen McGovern’s headed pass.
Eight minutes later, it was 2-0, with substitute Claire Emslie tucking away Lauren Davidson’s cross.
Sandy MacIver tipped a Franny Cerna volley over the bar, and Weir forced a similar save out of Barbora Votikova.
There was a let-off for Scotland as Cerna put a free header wide, before Nela Krejcirikova was sent off for a bad tackle on Jenna Clark, the initial caution switched for a red card.
Martha Thomas was brought down by goalkeeper Votikova, but after another VAR screen check, the penalty was cancelled.
