Ross Juniors were presented with the Hummel Herefordshire Women’s League champions trophy after their final game of the campaign.
They finally got to lift the silverware after what was just their second loss of the season, going down 2-1 at Penybont United, the title having been theirs since a 3-1 victory last time out at Belmont Wanderers.
With 14 wins from their 16 matches, they lead the table by six points over Wellington, who have just a single game remaining.

The champions have been prolific in front of goal, clear top scorers with 112 goals, of which Hannah Jenkins has netted a incredible 41 in just 11 matches.
This is Ross’s second title success in the last three years, with Penybont the champions in between.
Next up for them is a chance to complete the double as they face Wellington in the League Cup Final on Sunday, 19 April, 2pm kick-off at Ross-on-Wye Sports Centre.
