
Six Regional League Premier champions are yet to be crowned, and plenty of first division titles are still up for grabs with just a few weeks left in the campaign.
EASTERN – Royston Lead Race for Runners-Up Spot
Premier – Royston Town won 3-1 at Enfield Town in front of a crowd of 120, going second on goal difference with a game to go, as Wroxham were held 0-0 at home by Harpenden Town. St Albans City lost 2-0 at home to champions Stevenage, and Bowers & Pitsea were 5-1 winners at Watford Ladies Development.
1 North – Histon made it 21 straight wins with a single goal against Newmarket Town, while Stevenage Development finished as runners-up after a 4-2 result at Colney Heath. Hitchin Belles edged hosts Dunstable Town 4-3, led by a Jordan Rockall hat-trick, and Mulbarton Wanderers put five past Thetford Town to leapfrog them into eighth place.
1 South – Hashtag United Reserves ended to the top by six points after completing the fixtures with a single-goal success at Toby FC.
EAST MIDLANDS – Nottingham Trent Uni Could Clinch Top Spot in Midweek
Premier – Loughborough Foxes Vixens beat Rotherham United 3-0 to finish a point short of champions Chesterfield, while Mansfield Town’s 2-0 victory at SJR Worksop secured them third place.
1 Central – University of Nottingham drew 3-3 with Nottingham Trent University on Wednesday, while Sherwood beat Long Eaton United 2-0 and Asfordby Amateurs were 5-1 winners at West Bridgford. Asfordby came from behind to beat Basford United 3-2, with the decider scored by Alice Hayes as they chase down the leaders. Melbourne Dynamo ended University of Nottingham’s title hopes by beating them 4-1, while Nottingham Trent University were held to a 1-1 draw by Long Eaton United but remain just one win away from the title. They have a trip to West Bridgford at Regatta Way Sports Ground on Thursday, while on Tuesday Asfordby head to Coalville Town.
1 South – New Bradwell St Peter thrashed Brackley Town 6-0, aided by a Cara Brooker hat-trick, and they will edge out Newport Pagnell Town for the title if they win at home on Sunday against Netherton United, who sank River City 7-2.
LONDON & SOUTH EAST – All Three Titles Still To Be Decided
Premier – Saltdean United edged out Dorking Wanderers 2-1 to stay on top, while Brentford netted 10 at Sport London E Benfica and Dartford defeated Newhaven 4-0. Millwall Lionesses’ Ciara Alice Watling bagged a hat-trick in an 8-3 win at a now-relegated Ebbsfleet United, and Ashford Town scored all three goals at Aylesford.

1 North – Hammersmith overran Soccer Elite Football Academy 13-0 to move top above Bromley, who will host the same side on Thursday. Clapton CFC grabbed the points with a 2-1 win at AFC Greenwich Borough, while it was goalless between Camden Town and Dulwich Hamlet Reserves. Unfortunately, Richmond & Kew have withdrawn from the league.
1 South – Eastbourne Borough stayed on course for the title with all four goals at Steyning Town, while Leatherhead kept up the chase with a 5-1 victory at Sevenoaks Town, and likewise Bognor Regis Town with a 3-0 result at Hastings United.
NORTH EAST – Division 1 North Leading Pair Clash Thursday
Premier – Thornaby’s 4-0 win at Wallsend BC put them within two points of top side Bradford City, with a couple of games left each. Alnwick Town won 4-1 at South Shields, as did Spennymoor Town at home to Sunderland West End, while Brunsmeer Athletic beat Ossett United 4-2 away and Ponteland United edged Harrogate Town with a Chloe Adam goal. Sunderland West End host Thornaby at Herrington Recreation Ground on Wednesday, 22 April.
1 North – i2i International Soccer Academy beat Berwick Rangers 5-1 to take pole position from Birtley Town, whom they host on Thursday, 23 April. Hartlepool United entertain Norton & Stockton Ancients Reserves the same night after winning 4-2 at Park View over the weekend. Stockton Town defeated Redcar Town 2-0 on Wednesday and went on to beat Washington 3-0 away on Sunday.
1 South – Handsworth thrashed York City Development 7-0, but Leeds Modernians stay top by a couple of points with a 2-1 result at Lower Hopton, and they go again when hosting York this Thursday.
League Cup Quarter-Finals – Leeds Modernians edged a seven-goal thriller at York City Development despite having two players dismissed. Mia Moorhouse scored before her red card, while substitute Shameeka Fishley was cautioned twice.
NORTH WEST – West Didsbury Warm Up For Champions Fylde
Premier – West Didsbury & Chorlton triumphed 6-1 over Fleetwood Town Wrens, with Naomi Lawrence scoring a hat-trick in front of a crowd of 190. On Wednesday 22 April, Fleetwood face FC United of Manchester at Poolfoot Farm, while West Didsbury take on AFC Fylde at Manchester Metropolitan University’s Platt Lane Sports Complex.
1 Central – Champions FC St. Helens welcome Wigan Athletic on Thursday, 23 April.
SOUTHERN – Farnham and Wycombe Miss Title Opportunities After Defeats
Premier – Wycombe Wanderers missed the chance to clinch the title in their last game as they went down 3-0 at AFC Portchester, who can now overtake them if they win all the games in hand, likewise Winchester City Flyers after their 6-2 victory at Sholing. Oxford City scored six at Badshot Lea, Reading put five past Woodley United, and Fleet Town edged Beaconsfield Town 3-2.

1 North – Penn & Tylers Green came back from 2-1 down at half-time to beat Oxford City Development 6-2 and go second in the table. Abingdon United Development beat Kidlington 3-0, while Ascot United Reserves scored the only goal against Farnborough.
1 South – Bournemouth Sports Reserves beat champions-elect Farnham Town 2-0 with a Freya Loren Jennings brace in the last 15 minutes. Havant & Waterlooville won 2-1 at Bursledon to stay second, and Andover New Street leapfrogged AFC Stoneham into third on goal difference with a 3-1 win. Guernsey completed their debut campaign in the regional leagues with a 2-1 victory at AFC Varsity and a likely seventh-place finish.
Shield Services Group SOUTH WEST – Whitchurch Deny Corsham in 99th minute
Premier – Thursday’s games saw top team Torquay run out 8-0 winners at Saltash United, while title rivals Forest Green Rovers took a 4-2 victory at Pucklechurch Sports. Isabella Williams scored a hat-trick as Forest Green ran out 7-0 winners over Frampton Rangers on Sunday. Saltash suffered at home again as Gloucester City won 9-2, with four goals each from Sachiko Kaneko-Grun and Georgia Vandries. Sherborne Town kept their title hopes alive with a 5-1 win over Poole Town.
1 North – Whitchurch drew 3-3 with leaders Corsham Town as Ilarna Nche levelled in the 99th minute. Bitton gained ground with a 4-2 win over Cirencester Town, helped by a double from Skye Coole. Downend Flyers drew 1-1 with Paulton Rovers, while Stockwood Wanderers handed AFC Brislington a 4-0 loss. On Wednesday, 22 April, third plays second as Bitton host Royal Wootton Bassett Town.
1 South – Yeovil Town extended their lead to seven points with a 4-1 victory at Feniton.
WEST MIDLANDS – Lichfield City Crowned Champions
Premier – Lye Town are unbeaten with a game to go after defeating Burton Albion 6-1 with five second-half goals. Shrewsbury Town won 2-1 at Coundon Court where Alice Robinson scored the decider, and Shifnal Town overcame Alvechurch 5-1. On Thursday, 23 April, leaders Lye host Shrewsbury in fourth place.
1 North – Lichfield City were crowned champions after a 1-0 victory away to title rivals Walsall at the Bescot Stadium on Friday. Shelbie Cartwright scored the goal after 70 minutes but was shown a second yellow card deep into added time. Whitchurch Alport drew 2-2 with AFC Telford United on Sunday, as both sides completed their campaigns.

1 South – Halesowen won 4-2 away in midweek against Long Itchington, who also lost 3-0 at home to top side Knowle on Sunday, with Trina Greaves scoring twice. Second-placed Droitwich Spa just edged Halesowen 3-2, thanks to the winner from Tilly Pearson. Redditch United scored both goals at Bromsgrove Sporting, while Crusaders were 2-1 victors against Hereford Pegasus.
League Cup Semi-Finals – Hednesford Town and Coventry Sphinx made the final at Evesham United FC on 10 May, with the former winning 3-1 at Chasetown and the latter eliminating Solihull Moors 3-0.
