German international defender Rebecca Knaak has signed a two-year contract extension with Man City Women, keeping her at the club until the summer of 2028.
She joined City in January 2025 from FC Rosengard and has so far played 16 times and scored five goals.
Knaak told mancity.com: “I’m really happy to stay here. It’s the club I love and the club I want to be successful at, and I’m really happy to be here for another two years.
“Personally, I have so much unfinished business to be done, and I love this football club. It feels like home to me now and I feel this is where I belong and I’m meant to be.”
Manchester City Women Director of Football, Therese Sjogran, added: “We’re delighted that Rebecca has decided to extend her stay at the Club. After working with her in Sweden I was confident she would thrive in the WSL, and she’s had a brilliant first year at City.
