Portsmouth Women have signed striker Jesse Woolley following her departure from Bristol City over the summer.
A former England youth international, Woolley played 60 games and scored 10 times for Bristol City, before she went out on loan to Reading for the second half of the 2023/24 season.
Pompey boss Jay Sadler told portsmouthfc.co.uk: “We’re really pleased to welcome Jesse to the club. With a few injuries in the group at the moment, it was important for us to bring in someone who could strengthen us straight away, and Jesse is exactly that.
“She brings experience at this level, having spent the majority of her career with Bristol City. She is a really personable character, so I’ve no doubt she’ll fit seamlessly into the squad.
“On the pitch, she’ll bring calmness to our play and is always positive in her intentions. She wants to play forward and help us create and score goals. We’re excited to have her with us.”
