Nottingham Forest Women’s goalkeeper Emily Batty has signed a new contract with the WSL 2 side.

She has started every Barclays WSL2 fixture this season and taken her appearances with the club to over 130, while the new deal keeps her at Forest until June 2027.

Batty joined Forest in 2021 and has twice achieved the FA WNL league and cup double, also earning the Golden Glove in both of those highly successful campaigns.

Head coach, Carly Davies, told nottinghamforest.co.uk: “We are absolutely delighted that Emily has committed her future to the club by signing a new deal.

“Emily is an excellent goalkeeper, a fantastic character and an instrumental part of this team. She has played a key role in getting the club to WSL2 and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with Emily as we look to achieve more together at the club.”

Batty commented: “I’m over the moon to have signed a new contract with the club.

“I love playing my football here and I can’t wait to achieve even more with this talented group of players and staff.”
