Nottingham Forest Women sign defender Cerys Brown on loan from London City Lionesses until the end of the season.

Brown signed a professional deal with Chelsea in 2023 and made her senior debut in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

She joined London City on loan in 2024 before making the move permanent in February 2025.

Brown helped London City secure the Championship title, while internationally she plays for England U-23s.

Head coach, Carly Davies, told nottinghamforest.co.uk: “Cerys is a brilliant character with proven quality at this level, after winning the league title with London City Lionesses last season.

“We are looking forward to supporting Cerys in her development whilst she is with the team on loan this season.”

Brown added: “I’m delighted to join the Club on loan. It’s such an ambitious club with some really exciting players within this squad.

“As a Forest fan it’s even more special to be here this season and I can’t wait to get started playing at the City Ground soon.”
