Nottingham Forest Women have signed Shania Hayles on a one-year deal from Newcastle United.
The Jamaican international joined Newcastle in 2024 and was the top scorer in her first season there, with 15 goals.
Other clubs Hayles has played for are Aston Villa, Birmingham City, and Bristol City, twice being a second-tier title winner.
Hayles told nottinghamforest.co.uk: “I’m buzzing. It’s nice to be back home and I can’t wait to get going.
“I want to get started, to enjoy my football, score goals, and I believe this is the environment for me to do that.”
Head Coach, Tom Mallinson, added: “Shania has a proven track record of not just scoring in this division, but also being part of successful team environments. She understands the demands of the league, works hard for the team, and is driven by a desire to get on the scoresheet as much as possible.“
