Tuesday evening’s action saw Norwich City overtake Fulham at the top of the table on goal difference with a 5-2 victory at AFC Sudbury, despite trailing twice during the match and being level at 2-2 going into the dying minutes. Amy-Leigh Abrehart’s opener was cancelled out with a Grace Riglar penalty, a 30-yard screamer by Jess Allen replied to by Natasha Snelling. With five minutes to go, Riglar put the Canaries in front, goals from Olivia Cook and Holly Kennard then sealing the victory.
Swindon Town made it seven straight wins with a 2-1 victory in a top-of-the-table clash against Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium. Lacy Liggett opened the scoring early for the visitors and although Rovers’ Ella Pemberton forced an own goal to equalize after 70 minutes, Taylor MacDonald quickly regained the lead with a brilliant free kick.

Skye Bacon and Grace Jarrett responded to goals from Mia Delaney and Poppy Dearlove, with Amber Hazelwood coming off the bench to quickly put the Rebels ahead. But deep into added time, Darcey Maxted headed United level.
