North Korea defeated the Netherlands 3-0 to secure their fourth FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup title and second in succession.

Silver Ball and Silver Boot winner Kim Won-sim, along with Pak Rye-yong, scored in the first 18 minutes.

Watched by a near-6000 crowd at the Rabat Stadium in Morocco, Ri Ui-gyong completed the scoring before halftime, as the Koreans retained the trophy.

Mexico won the Third-Place Match 3-1 on penalties, after Evelin Bonifacio’s stoppage-time goal denied Brazil victory, with Kaylane earlier making the breakthrough.

North Korea’s Yu Jong-hyang was presented with both the Golden Ball and Golden Boot, Netherlands’ Rosalie Renfurm received the Bronze Ball, and Italy’s Giulia Galli the Bronze Boot.

The Golden Glove went to Mexico’s Valentina Murrieta, while the FIFA Fair Play Award was given to Spain.
