Nicole Kozlova and Cara Gray have scooped September’s SWPL Player of the Month awards, supported by Park’s Motor Group, as their fellow clubs selected them as the standout players of the month.

In the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League (SPWPL), Nicole Kozlova has played a pivotal role in ensuring Glasgow City sat top-of-the-table come the end of September, scoring three goals in the month which included a decisive winner at Ibrox, in City’s 1-0 win over local rivals Rangers.

The Ukraine International also scored a brace in Glasgow City’s dominant 5-1 victory over Heart of Midlothian in which the forward completed 100% of all dribbles and ended the game with an 87% pass accuracy.

In the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2 (SPWPL 2), Cara Gray’s goalscoring form has helped Kilmarnock keep pace at the summit of the table. Kilmarnock are the high scorers in SPWPL 2, with many of these credited to Gray who scored four times across the month, making her the joint-top goal scorer in the league.
