Miri Taylor Earns First Scotland Women Call Up

Aston Villa midfielder Miri Taylor, who previously represented England at youth level, receives her first call up to the Scotland Women squad.

Defender Leah Eddie has returns from injury for this month’s international friendlies against China and Ukraine, marking her first call-up under Head Coach Melissa Andreatta.

Kirsty Smith and Amy Rodgers drop out of selection for the final two games of the year in Spain, which serve as key preparation ahead of the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers next year.

Scotland play Ukraine on Friday 28 November (KO 11am GMT) at Estadio Municipal de Chapín, Jerez, before taking on China at the same venue on Tuesday 2 December, with a 6pm start.
