The Adobe Women’s FA Cup First Round Proper sees Hampshire League side Millbrook host a huge occasion against AFC Bournemouth.
The Southampton-based team have come through four rounds already and boast one of the competition’s leading scorers this season, but now face their biggest challenge so far in the Cherries, who are unbeaten and four divisions their senior.
Millbrook began their first ever Women’s FA Cup adventure back on 24 August in the Preliminary Round against Horsham, who were blown away by Cleo Rawlings’ five-goal haul in 23 first-half minutes. Sydney Whymark got a couple after the break for a 7-1 score line.
Rawlings added a hat-trick in a 3-2 victory at Three Bridges, Montpelier Villa were then seen off 3-1 as Rawlings scored twice more to sit joint-top of the competition’s Golden Ball chart for leading goal scorer.
Visitors Tiverton Town were overcome 3-0, on target were Lana Farborther, Lauren Cheshire and Rawlings with her 11th of the Cup run.
Winning clubs in this round will receive £6,000 each from the prize fund, eliminated teams get £1,500.
