
Arsenal’s Mariona Caldentey topped the fans vote for WSL player of the season, the Championship award going to Izzy Goodwin of London City Lionesses.
At the inaugural Women’s Professional Game Awards, Goodwin also topped the goalscoring charts in the second tier, while the WSL golden boot was shared by Arsenal’s Alessia Russo Manchester City’s Khadija Shaw.
Shekiera Martinez of West Ham won WSL rising star, Portsmouth’s Sophie Quirk taking the honour in the Championship.
WSL goal of the season was deemed to have been scored by Vivianne Miedema of Manchester City, Maria Farrugia of Sheffield United with the top hit in the Championship.
The WSL golden glove vote was a tie with 13 clean sheets for Phallon Tullis-Joyce of Manchester United and Chelsea’s Hannah Hampton, Emily Orman of London City Lionesses capturing the award for the Championship.
Meanwhile, West Ham’s Katrina Gorry was declared the Player Champion of Change.
