Man Utd Women Go Back Above Chelsea with Stoppage Time Winner

Man Utd Women are back up to second in the Barclays Women’s Super League, while Man City’s Khadija Shaw scored the fastest-ever WSL hat-trick.

While Chelsea led London City for an hour thanks to a Johanna Rytting Kaneryd goal, Isabelle Goodwin leveled for the Lionesses to secure a 1-1 draw.

Elisabeth Terland put Manchester United in the lead, and although Inma Gabarro equalised in the 90th minute, Melvine Malard restored the advantage to move United up to second.

Khadija Shaw scored the fastest WSL hat-trick in just 21 minutes, as Manchester City cruised to a 5-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur. Kerolin and an own goal from Amanda Nilden added to the tally, while Olivia Holdt and Beth England scored for Spurs, as City went eight points clear at the top.

Arsenal cruised to a 5-0 win over West Ham United, with Stina Blackstenius’s opener followed by a Chloe Kelly brace and one apiece from Alessia Russo and Beth Mead.
