Man City Women Complete Two-Goal Fightback to Draw at Bayern

Man City Women drew 2-2 at Bayern Munich in the UWCL, while Arsenal beat HB Køge with a stoppage-time penalty.

Giulia Gwinn was picked out by a Linda Dallmann pass to give Bayern an early lead, which was doubled when Kerstin Casparij deflected a cross into her own net.

Manchester City halved the deficit close to half-time, Beth Mead presented with a tap-in following Khadija Shaw’s blocked shot.

Ena Mahmutovic saved a Shaw spot-kick after bringing down Aoba Fujino in the penalty area.

But City earned a point with an 86th-minute equaliser, as Laura Blindkilde Brown found Carlotta Wamser with time to control the ball and fire home.

Arsenal left it until the 93rd minute to make the breakthrough against Køge. Chloe Kelly had a goal ruled out after a VAR check for offside, but Selina Cerci was fouled in the box and Mariona Caldentey put away the resulting spot kick.

Haley Bugeja’s fifth-minute goal was enough to give Inter Milan the points against Häcken, who had Jennifer Falk sent off late after a VAR decision upgraded her yellow card.

Benfica‘s Marit Lund scored twice, once from a penalty and once from a free kick, before hosts Juventus pulled a goal back in the 86th minute through Alba Redondo.

Real Madrid led for most of the match against Paris Saint-Germain but had to settle for a point. Felicia Schröder’s second-minute goal was eventually cancelled out by Sakina Karchaoui from the penalty spot.
