London City Lionesses sign Denmark U-23 international midfielder Malou Marcetto from Madrid CFF on a deal until the summer of 2028.
Marcetto began her career at Brøndby, making 52 appearances and scoring 13 goals, then had a stint with Dijon in France’s D1 Féminine before moving to Madrid CFF, where she has played 40 times.
Marcetto told londoncitylionesses.com: “England just reminds me of, and makes me think of, football. It’s the biggest football country, in my opinion. Women’s football is growing here and it’s going to be a very competitive league to play in, I’m really excited to be here and get started.
“In terms of my playing style, as a midfielder, I like to be creative and also work hard.”
