London City Lionesses have signed Spanish international Lucía Corrales from Barcelona on a four-year contract.
Able to play in all positions on the left flank, Corrales arrives after a loan spell with Sevilla last season, making 28 league appearances and providing three assists from left-back.
Corrales broke into the Barca first team during the 2022–23 season, making appearances in both the domestic league and UEFA Women’s Champions League.
She helped Spain win the 2022 U-17 World Cup and 2023 U-19 Championship, before gaining a senior debut in March 2025.
Corrales told londoncitylionesses.com: “I want to adapt as well and as quickly as possible, get to know all my teammates, and build a good group – and the same with the staff.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting all the players, all my teammates, but especially Jana [Fernández] and María Pérez, since I’ve shared a locker-room with them before and I’m really excited to be with them again.
“I chose London City because I believe it’s a club where a very good project is being developed, and I’m really eager to see how things are done here and to get started.”
