Second-tier Llanfair United narrowly lost out 5-4 to holders The New Saints in the Genero Adran Trophy Round of 16.

Charlotte Crees scored twice for the holders, with Maria Francis-Jones, Lexi Jones, and Lexie Harrison also on target for The New Saints. Lower-division Llanfair stayed in the match thanks to a Tania Wylde hat-trick and a goal from Sophie Cook.

Briton Ferry’s Lauren Payne scored a late winner to overcome underdogs Cwmbran, after both sides missed a penalty and Llansawel’s Meg Kearle had her goals twice cancelled out by Cerys Shipley and Cerys Pinchard.

Maddie Lloyd also grabbed a late winner for Pontypridd, as they similarly avoided losing to an Adran South side at Llanelli.

Barry’s India Shanahan and Keira Harris scored late in the first half against Cascade, with Beca Thomas completing the scoring after the restart.

Swansea City led 3-0 at half-time against Cardiff Met, thanks to Aimee Deacon’s double and a goal from Stacey John. Emily Richards extended the lead to 4-0 after the interval.

Aberystwyth sank Felinheli 7-0 with Amy Jenkins and substitute Jessica Baker both at the double, Cardiff City similarly defeated Flint as Fiona Barry and Madison Perrot each got a couple.

Wrexham netted nine against Llandudno, Mariam Mahmood hitting a hat-trick, Katie Barker and Rosie Hughes with two apiece.
