
Liverpool Women’s all-time leading appearance maker in the WSL era, Gemma Bonner, will leave the club at the end of the 2025-26 campaign, along with Gemma Evans.
Bonner departs having played in 186 games across two spells, the centre-half captained the club to back-to-back league titles in 2013 and 2014 before returning for a second stint in January 2023.
The 34-year-old has been on the scoresheet five times in the second chapter of her Reds career, two of which came in a thrilling 4-3 victory against Chelsea at Prenton Park in May 2024.
Injury has limited her to 10 outings in the current campaign – the 10th one she has been involved in at the club.
Two years after joining from Manchester United, Wales international Gemma Evans has made 38 appearances, scoring two goals.
