Liverpool FC Women have completed the signing of Wales international defender Lily Woodham from NWSL side Seattle Reign.

The left-back, who has more than 40 caps for her country, started all three of Wales’ matches at Women’s EURO 2025.

She spent the majority of the last campaign on loan at Crystal Palace, and before her spell in the States had time at Bristol City, with Reading where she was appointed captain for the 2023-24 season, and on loan Charlton Athletic.

Woodham told Liverpoolfc.com: “It’s amazing. Obviously I’m a fan of Liverpool, so it’s a dream come true really.

“I’m really excited to meet everyone. It already feels like a home from home and everyone has been so nice to me and welcomed me.

“I just want to bring everything I can to the team and always give my all in games and training.”
