Liverpool face Arsenal Women at Anfield, with both sides having just two wins from eight outings in the Barclays WSL.
Liverpool have secured just one point from their last four matches and sit two points above the teams in 12th and 13th positions.
The Gunners are two points better off in seventh but also have a goal difference of -1, averaging a goal per game, half of which have ended in draws.
Respective head coaches Garth Taylor and Renée Slegers each expect to select from the same squad as their previous fixtures.
Taylor told liverpoolfc.com: “We should be pretty similar to what we were at West Ham, hopefully with more volume under the belt for the likes of Mari Ward and Lucy Parry.”
Slegers told www.arsenal.com: “I think we’ve created a situation where … because of how it started and how the challenge then grew for us, where opposition then also has seen things and go in with a certain mindset into the games. But it’s all about us, and I believe we are making steps and players are in form and coming together. And yeah, I’m convinced that on Sunday, you’ll see a good Arsenal team.”
Chelsea lead the table and are on a winning run, having conceded only four goals in eight games, as they host Everton, who have taken a single point from their last three matches.
Manchester City dropped their first points recently in their derby clash and are at home to West Ham, who come into the game with two wins in three.
Third-placed London City are without a win from their two most recent fixtures and face Birmingham City, who sit just above the bottom two on goal difference.
Fourth plays sixth as Tottenham take on Brighton, separated by a couple of points, which is also the gap between Aston Villa and their higher-positioned visitors Manchester United.
There’s a basement local derby battle as Crystal Palace face Charlton Athletic, with the Addicks still to get off the mark, having scored only three goals.
Barclays WSL2 leaders Newcastle United dropped points for the first time in their previous match but now host bottom-placed Burnley at St James’ Park.
Ipswich Town are also without a defeat and two points off the top as they face fourth-placed Bristol City, with both sides in good form.
Durham have lost all six games and are up against third-placed Sunderland, Wolves welcome draw specialists Nottingham Forest, Southampton have also tied four of their six games and host Sheffield United, while Leicester City vs Watford is the later kick-off.
