England’s Lionesses will play their FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Play-Off Final home leg against Ukraine at Wembley Stadium.

The first leg will be played away from home at a venue to be confirmed, before England return to Wembley for the decisive second leg.

The sides know each other well after a 3-0 win for England in Liverpool back in June, following a 6-1 success win away from home in a match played in Türkiye.

Tickets for the home leg on Saturday 5 December at 5:30pm will be available for general sale starting 22 October.

Head coach Sarina Wiegman told englandfootball.com: “We know what the opportunity is and we are looking forward to the challenge ahead. After a successful window just gone, we now have some time and our focus is on being fully prepared against a team that did well in their own play-off. We have played Ukraine recently and know the qualities they have and the threat they can pose.

“First we need to approach the first leg in the best possible way but to play at Wembley Stadium in front of our fans for a place at the World Cup is a big moment.

“The stadium is special to us and we have shared many memorable moments there with our supporters. We know how much their backing means to the team and the role they can play in helping us achieve our objective.”
