The Lionesses will face Ukraine in the first leg of their FIFA Women’s World Cup play-off at Spain’s Pinatar Arena.
The venue has now been confirmed with the game scheduled to take place on Tuesday 1 December, with the kick-off time to be finalised.
This will be the fourth time the Lionesses have played at the venue in Murcia, having last played a double header there in November 2022 against Norway (0-0) and Japan (4-0) with their first game there seeing a 0-0 draw with Sweden back in January 2017.
Following this match, the second leg will be staged at Wembley Stadium connected by EE with the aggregate winners of the tie securing qualification to next summer’s World Cup in Brazil. Tickets for the game at Wembley are on sale now.
englandfootball.com states that ‘Fans who are considering travelling to support the Lionesses away from home are now invited to register their interest by completing the form.‘
