Switzerland centurion Lia Wälti has joined Juventus on a two-year contract after she ended a seven-year spell at Arsenal.

She made over 100 appearances for Arsenal, winning the WSL, League Cup twice and the UEFA Women’s Champions League in May.

The Gunners’ Director of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley told arsenal.com: “Lia has been an important part of our recent history at Arsenal. One of the most talented midfielders of her generation, Lia has brought joy to our supporters and worn our jersey with class.”
