Leicester City Women have signed Republic of Ireland internationals Jessie Stapleton and Jess Ziu from West Ham for undisclosed fees.
Defender Stapleton arrives at King Power Stadium following two years with West Ham United and signs a three-year contract.
She had loan spells with Reading and Sunderland before linking up with Nottingham Forest for the 2025/26 campaign.
Internationally, she has earned 20 senior caps and two goals for her country, including one in the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 qualifying play-offs.
Speaking to LCFC.com, Stapleton said: “I’m happy it’s over the line and I’m excited to get going – this is a club with a lot of ambition. The Club can help me grow as a player, and I feel I can help the club back to where it belongs.”

Versatile midfielder Ziu, who has earned 19 caps for Ireland, has signed a two-year contract.
She made 23 appearances for the Hammers and spent the first half of the 2025/26 season on loan at Bristol City.
Speaking to LCFC.com, Ziu said: “The plan and structure the club has in place is really exciting. I can’t wait to get the jersey on and play in front of all the fans at King Power Stadium.”
