Leicester City Women have agreed an undisclosed fee with Tottenham Hotspur for the permanent transfer of defender Ashleigh Neville.
The left-back signs a one-and-a-half-year contract at King Power Stadium, with the Foxes holding an additional one-year extension option.
Speaking to Foxes Hub, Neville said: “This is a new challenge, and I want to help the team put as many points on the board as possible. I’m hoping that the experience I have both on and off the pitch can help. “Now is the right time for a new challenge and I’m looking forward to seeing what this new chapter will bring.”
Neville made over 100 appearances for Spurs in the top flight since their promotion to the division in 2018/19.
She began her senior career with Sporting Club Albion in 2011 and went on to represent the West Midlands side for two seasons before earning a move to Coventry United.
Her consistency and influence on performances were recognised during her spell in the West Midlands, which secured her a move to Tottenham Hotspur in 2017, with whom she made history in February 2025 by becoming the first Tottenham player to reach 100 WSL appearances.
