Leicester City Women have made the permanent signing of Paulina Nyström from Damallsvenskan side BK Häcken.
The 25-year-old Finland international joins for an undisclosed fee and signs a two-year contract at King Power Stadium.
Speaking to LCFC.com, Nyström said: “Leicester is an amazing club and it’s an honour to be here. This will be a fun adventure, and I hope to contribute with the things I’m good at.
“I play with a lot of power, and I will try to bring that as much as possible. I have a lot of experience and want to perform well to help the team.”
She began her career in the Swedish regional leagues before joining top tier Damallsvenskan outfit Vittsjö GIK in 2019.
Back-to-back loan spells with Lörby IF and Eskilstuna United followed prior to a permanent return to Eskilstuna in 2019 in a spell that returned 10 goals and two assists in 26 league games.
The 2023/24 campaign saw her link up with Serie A side Juventus and she would go on to make 23 appearances in all competitions..
A return to the Damallsvenskan league followed with BK Häcken one year later. A rewarding term, the striker was part of the squad that led Häcken to UEFA Women’s Europa Cup glory with a 4-2 victory over Hammarby IF in 2026.
