Leaders Drop First Points to Berwick Rangers and Lye Town

Berwick Rangers and Lye Town brought an end to leaders’ perfect records, while Salford City Lionesses and Abingdon Utd Devs went top of their respective Regional League tables.

EASTERN – Wille Scores Crucial Double for Dunstable

Premier – Stevenage stayed top with a 5-1 victory at Bowers & Pitsea, second beat third as Royston Town saw off Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers 4-0, while Wroxham went one better against Watford Ladies Development.

1 North – Stevenage Development edged Newmarket Town 3-2, Real Bedford Reserves kept on their heels with all four goals at Cambridge City. Dunstable Town are up to fourth after a Monet-Grace Wille double helped them to a 3-2 win at Colney Heath.

1 South – Colchester United were held to a 1-1 draw at home by basement side Hertford Town after substitute Emma Nolan scored, but the Essex side still moved up two places to seventh.

EAST MIDLANDS – Newport Pagnell Go Second

1 North – Connie Forman scored twice for Newark Town, Lincoln United Development sub Elizabeth Blewitt among the scorers during a 3-3 tie.

1 South – Newport Pagnell Town’s 3-0 score away to Stanground Cardea Sports lifted them two places to second.

LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Dartford Make Gains on top two

Premier – Millwall Lionesses held leaders Saltdean United to a goalless draw, while Dartford beat second-placed Brentford 3-1 to move within three points of them with two games in hand. Sutton United’s 3-0 win at Newhaven lifted them two spots to fourth, and Barking won by the same score at Sport London E Benfica, helped by Miquellah Meade’s brace.

NORTH EAST – Berwick Halt Rutherford’s Perfect Start

Premier – Ossett United won by the odd goal in seven at Brunsmeer Athletic to climb to fourth in the table.

1 North – Gateshead Rutherford were on track for their sixth win in six until Berwick Rangers netted two second-half goals to hold the hosts to a 4-4 draw. Park View are within two points of third-placed Washington after a 4-2 victory over them, while Norton & Stockton Ancients Reserves sit fifth after scoring all three goals at Redcar Town.

NORTH WEST – Salford City Hit the Summit

Premier – Mancunian Unity closed the gap on leaders AFC Fylde with seven unanswered goals at Darwen. Tranmere Rovers stayed ahead of Crewe Alexandra, denying them victory with Eleanor Doyle’s stoppage-time goal.

1 Central – Salford City reached the top with a 3-0 win over MSB Woolton, aided by two goals from Caitlin Mahaffey, pushing them past Ashton Town. Pilkington edged out Wigan Athletic 3-2, with Nicole Franey scoring twice.

1 North – Penrith’s Abbie Forster scored a hat-trick in their 7-2 victory over Chorley Development, which put them in third position.

1 South – Manchester Laces beat AFC Crewe 4-1 to pull level on points with Wirral Phoenix in third.

SOUTHERN – Draw Enough to Put Abingdon Top

Premier – Beaconsfield Town beat Sholing 3-1, thanks to two goals from Henna Hussain, moving them up to second place. AFC Portchester’s Sarah Butterworth scored an early brace in their 4-2 win at Fleet Town, while Winchester City Flyers levelled against Southampton Women in the last quarter of an hour on their way to a 3-1 victory.

1 North – Abingdon United Development moved to the top, taking over from Denham United, despite being held to a 1-1 draw at home by Farnborough. Slough Town are level on points with third-placed Tilehurst Panthers, having handed them a 3-2 defeat. Chesham United Development cruised past Oxford City Development 5-1 to close in on them in mid-table.

1 South – AFC Stoneham moved up to third place on goal difference after overtaking three teams, including Havant & Waterlooville, whom they beat 4-1. Bournemouth Sports Reserves drew 1-1 at home against Bursledon.

Shield Services Group SOUTH WEST – Pucklechurch Up to Fifth

Premier – Pucklechurch Sports won by a single goal at Frampton Rangers, lifting them into the top half of the division.

1 North – Tenth-placed Stockwood Wanderers earned a point from a 1-1 home draw against seventh-spot Bath City.

WEST MIDLANDS – Lye First To Deny Shifnal Victory

Premier – Lye Town shared six goals with leaders Shifnal Town to end their 100% record, allowing Redditch Borough to move within a point after a 3-1 win over Coundon Court, where Jessica Hood netted a hat-trick. Burton Albion earned a solid point in a 2-2 draw at Shrewsbury Town, while Hednesford Town celebrated their first victory with a 2-0 triumph over Alvechurch.

1 North – Lichfield City’s 2-1 win over Newcastle Town brought them level on points with leaders Walsall.
