Lauren James returned from injury for Chelsea Women as they thrashed St. Pölten 6-0 to move onto seven points from three games in the UWCL.

Roma 0-1 Vålerenga
OL Lyonnes 3-1 Wolfsburg
Real Madrid 1-1 Paris FC
St. Pölten 0-6 Chelsea

Chelsea were 2-0 up at half-time, with Wieke Kaptein scoring from an Ellie Carpenter cut-back and Catarina Macario beating the goalkeeper from the edge of the box.

Alyssa Thompson won a penalty early in the second half, which Macario converted, with Sam Kerr then making it 4-0.

Lauren James’ effort from distance brought a own-goal by Lisa Ebert and in added time Kerr headed home her second.

OL Lyonnes made it three wins from three with a 3-1 victory over Wolfsburg, thanks to an Ada Hegerberg double and a Wendie Renard penalty, with Lineth Beerensteyn replying late on.

Paris FC took the lead with a Lorena Azzaro penalty in Madrid, until Caroline Weir equalised eight minutes into added time.

Vålerenga got off the mark with a first-half Stine Brekken strike at Roma.
