Kinmel Bay won their Bute Energy Welsh U-16 Cup 1st Round tie with Henllan 6-5 on penalties, following a 6-6 score at full time.

Holly Lowe got four goals for Henllan who led 4-1 at half time but Kinmel Bay eventually took it to a shoot-out thanks to a late brace by Summer Jones. Beau Hamersley converted the decisive spot-kick for the visitors.

Phoebe Moss netted four of Thornhill’s six goals, Lily Bethell lead the way for high-scoring Barry with a hat-trick, Ffion Miles also claimed a treble in Carmarthen’s comfortable victory against Treowen.

Taffs Well going through as Isabelle Edwards claimed three goals and as many assists, Emily Rees just the hat-trick, Isabella Douglas scored both goals as Rhyl knocked out Llanidloes.

Ponthir came from behind to beat Trefelin 6-2, NFA grabbed the winner two minutes from time at Brickfield Rangers.

Kelsea Verallo-Nicholas scored a crucial second goal for Swansea City, Connah’s Quay win over Holyhead saw Annabelle Griffiths dismissed for the Nomads, followed by Hotspur’s Ellie Murphy.
