Huddersfield Town Women Go Top of the Northern Premier

Huddersfield Town Women go top of the FA WNL Northern Premier Division, as West Brom beat Rugby Borough.

Huddersfield beat Hull with Laura Elford’s 87th-minute decider to go top of the Northern Premier, after West Brom edged morning leaders Rugby Borough with Naomi Sharp’s stoppage-time goal.

Liverpool Feds’ Jessica Brady scored the only goal against Middlesbrough, Derby’s Dolcie O’Connor netted two of their three goals at Peterborough, Norwich drew 1-1 with Stoke, as did Boldmere with Loughborough following the late dismissal of their Skye Owen.

Oxford United made it five wins from five in the Southern Premier, putting as many goals past Plymouth Argyle, helped by a Sophie Quirk hat-trick. AFC Bournemouth’s Isabel Watts scored the sole goal in front of over 850 at Exeter City.

Hashtag’s Elicia Mulvaney grabbed a couple in a 4-2 win over Swindon, Portsmouth took the points 2-0 at Real Bedford, and Lewes went one better with a 3-0 victory against Cheltenham.

Division 1 North‘s top side is still Leeds after a fifth win, 2-0 at Bradford. AFC Fylde in second beat Chester Le Street 5-2.

Halifax’s Farah Crompton netted the winner in a 3-2 result at Durham Cestria, as did Stockport’s Meg Boydell against Chorley.

Norton’s 3-0 win over Blackburn featured a Sacha Millward double, while York put five past Thornaby.

There was a thrilling eight-goal draw at the top of Division 1 Midlands as Rachael Dunlop hit a first-half treble for Wythenshawe, but top side Leafield left with a 4-4 result thanks to Kiera Bell’s 98th-minute equaliser.

Barnsley Women beat Sutton Coldfield 3-0, with Aaliyah Nolan scoring twice to help her team move up to second. Notts County scored all their four goals in the last half-hour for a 4-2 success at Sheffield FC, Worcester’s Annabel Sime netted in the 87th minute for a 2-1 win at Northampton, and Lye Town’s Tash Baptiste grabbed a brace, including a penalty, in a 2-0 victory at Chesterfield, while Sporting Khalsa shared the points with Kidderminster.

London Bees’ 2-0 win at Dulwich puts them at the top of Division 1 South East, while Actonians were held by Dartford and QPR netted all three goals in a 12-minute burst at Chatham.

Cambridge United drew a crowd of nearly 1,000 but fell to MK Dons thanks to a Raissa Taborda strike. Luton’s Chloe Logie was the lone scorer at Stevenage, and Billericay suffered a 2-0 home defeat to Saltdean.

Division 1 South West sees Bridgwater on top after they saw off Abingdon, and Bristol Rovers edged Moneyfields 3-2 with Gipsy Viveash netting the crucial goal.

Maidenhead’s Mae Goulden scored twice as they overturned a 2-0 deficit to win at Torquay, while Marine Academy Plymouth held off a Bournemouth Sports comeback for a 3-2 victory thanks to Kate Bowden’s decider. Gwalia won 2-0 at Wycombe, and Keynsham doubled that score at home to Ascot.
