
Hibernian beat Rangers to win the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League for the first time in 18 years, while Glasgow City claimed the second European spot.

Hibernian’s Kirsten Reilly hit the crossbar in the second half but Hibs did break the deadlock after 74 minutes, Kathleen McGovern’s cross volleyed home by Linzi Taylor. Siobhan Hunter made a crucial block to deny Mia McAulay an equaliser, Rangers were reduced to ten players in added time with a red card for Laura Rafferty.
Kimberley Smit opened the scoring for Glasgow City against Hearts, Nicole Kozlova doubling the lead straight after half-time. The result meant that City took the second Champions League berth from Rangers.
Celtic scored twice in the first seven minutes against Motherwell, Lucy Ashworth-Clifford and Maria McAneny on target, the former making it 3-0. McAneny also got her second, before Morgan Cross and Saoirse Noonan added one apiece.

Queen’s Park 0-3 Aberdeen
Spartans 1-2 Partick Thistle
Partick Thistle topped the group with victory at Spartans, who drop down to SWPL 2. Hannah Robinson and Olivia King netted for the Jags, before Erin Rennie replied from the spot.
Montrose defeated Dundee United 4-0 to escape the bottom three, Sophia Martin, Holly Daniel, Neve Guthrie and Louise Brown all on target.
Aberdeen struck three first-half goals in the space of 16 minutes at Queen’s Park, Darcie Miller Kerry Beattie and Eva Thomson, as they finished a point short of Partick.

St Johnstone 2-1 Livingston
Hamilton Academical 5-1 Rossvale
Kilmarnock 5-2 Ayr United

Title-winning Hamilton Academical were presented with the trophy after a 5-1 victory over Rossvale. Josephine Giard and Sophie Townsley each bagged a brace, Justie Strain was their other scorer.
Kilmarnock were twice pegged back by Ayr United but goals in the last quarter of a hour by Abby Robinson, Laura McLaughlin and Mia Scott brought them a 5-2 result which meant the runners-up spot for them but relegation for Ayr.
Third-placed Boroughmuir Thistle fought back from 2-0 down to dramatically defeat Gartcairn 3-2 with a stoppage-time double. Abbi McDonald added to a own-goal opener, Thistle hitting back through Fiona Gibson, a Becky Galbraith penalty and decider by Amy Forbes.
St Johnstone led through Leah Sidey, Elise Macara levelled for Livingston but Niamh Irvine restored the advantage.
