Chloe Warrington came off the bench to hit a spectacular decider as Glasgow City beat Hibernian 2-1 in the Sky Sports Cup Semi-Finals.

Glasgow City snatched the opening goal with the last kick of the first half. Hibs couldn’t handle a long Erin Clachers clearance and Nicole Kozlova slipped between Rachael Boyle and goalkeeper Noa Schumacher to slot the ball home.

City were desperately close to doubling the lead early in the second half, as Kozlova was denied by the post and then Schumacher, while Nicole Wrobel saw her effort blocked in-between.

They didn’t have to wait too much longer as substitute Warrington stepped inside 12 yards out and rifled her shot into the far top corner.

Hibs quickly pulled one back as Kirsty Reilly’s free kick from just beyond the corner of the box flew into the back of the net.

Rangers and Celtic clash in the second semi-final on Sunday at 1:30pm, live on BBC ALBA.
