Hereford Pegasus claimed the Herefordshire FA Women’s County Cup for the fourth time in the last six seasons following a 4-1 penalty shoot-out victory over city rivals Hereford FC.
In a tense final played in front of over 250 spectators, Pegasus broke the deadlock when experienced midfielder Sarah Bishop met a 31st minute corner with a bullet header.
The cup holders hit back to level the scores in the 61st minute but neither team were unable to fashion a winning goal before the final whistle sounded.

Pegasus goalkeeper Emily Morgan proved to be the hero in the ensuing shoot-out with two penalty saves before converting the winning kick to spark the celebrations amongst her team mates and supporters.
Morgan received the player of the match award sponsored by Arthur Oakley Transport before Pegasus captain Ellie Davies received the cup from Sharon Fellowes of the Herefordshire FA.
