Hearts Women went second in the SWPL table after coming from behind to win the Edinburgh derby 3-1 at Hibernian.

Hearts came from behind to win 3-1 away against Edinburgh rivals Hibernian, leapfrogging them into second place. Ellis Notley’s header put Hibs ahead at half-time, but Bayley Hutchison set up Carly Johns for the equaliser before turning in a Lizzie Waldie corner. Johns then grabbed her second from a Georgia Timms effort, as Hearts netted their third goal in a 12-minute spell.
Glasgow City thrashed hosts Montrose 6-1, with Chloe Warrington’s opener followed by a first-half double from Natalia Wrobel. Sofia Maatta, Lisa Forrest and Erin McLaughlin each added one for City, while Ashley Robertson grabbed a late consolation goal.
Partick Thistle edged Aberdeen with a first-half Lia Tweedie goal, keeping the Dons at bay after an 87th-minute dismissal of Olivia King.
Carla Boyce scored twice in 10 second-half minutes, with assists from Bailley Collins and Amy Bulloch, as Motherwell won at Hamilton to go sixth in the table.

Queen’s Park drew at Livingston, while Gartcairn’s 3-0 victory at Stirling University lifted them to fifth spot.
East Fife secured their first win, climbing off the bottom with a 2-0 victory over St Johnstone.
