Birmingham City Women have signed defender Hannah Silcock on loan from Liverpool for the rest of the season.

She made her senior debut during Liverpool’s 2021-22 Women’s Championship title-winning season, and has gone on to make 11 first-team appearances for Liverpool across all competitions.

In 2023 she gained further senior experience while on loan at Blackburn Rovers, featuring regularly for the former second-tier side.

Internationally, Silcock has represented England at youth level, earning caps with both the Under-19s and Under-23s.

Silcock told bcfc.com: “It’s really exciting to be here. It’s been on the back of my mind for a while and I’ve been really looking forward to it. I’m happy to be at Birmingham City.

“I want to get as many minutes as possible, improve myself and help get Birmingham back into the WSL.”
