Sarina Wiegman and Hannah Hampton have both been honoured at The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025.
FIFA Women’s Player 2025 is Aitana Bonmatí, marking the third time she has been awarded the honour.
Lionesses boss and former Netherlands head coach Wiegman has now won the FIFA Women’s Coach award five times.
She said: “It’s an absolute honour to receive this award again. I would like to thank FIFA and everyone who voted and I would like to congratulate Seb [Hines], Jonatan [Giráldez], Renee [Slegers] and Sonia [Bompastor] on your achievements too.
“And thank you to the FA for their continued support for me and the team. This award is actually for the players and staff. We’ve showed so much conviction, belief and togetherness that led us to our second EURO win.”
Hampton won the Goalkeeper of the Year award after helping England clinch the Euros with two penalty shoot-out saves in the final and playing a key role in Chelsea’s domestic treble.
“Thank you very much to everyone who voted,” said Hampton. “It is greatly appreciated and it really means a lot.
“To Sarina [Wiegman] and to Sonia [Bompastor] for the belief in me this year, both at club and country, we’ve achieved so much and there’s still so much set out for us to go and get.”
Lucy Bronze, Lauren James, Chloe Kelly, Alessia Russo and Leah Williamson were also nominated for The Best FIFA Women’s Player but missed out on the prize.

The FIFA Marta Award celebrates the most spectacular goals of the qualifying period, with Lizbeth Ovalle declared the winner with her goal for Tigres against Guadalajara in the Mexican League, as she hit the top corner with a scorpion kick.
