
Regional Leagues Round-Up: Grimsby Town Women are East Midlands Division One North champions.
EASTERN – Haylock Hat-trick Earns Atletico a Draw
Premier – Stevenage’s Sarah Wiltshire scored three of their four goals at Watford Ladies Development as they moved 11 points clear, while Royston Town let a lead slip to be held 3-3 by Atletico London, for whom Brooke Haylock netted a hat-trick. Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers drew 1-1 with Haringey Borough, Hutton boosted their survival hopes with a solid 2-1 win over Bowers & Pitsea, and Wroxham beat Enfield Town 5-1.
1 North – Biggleswade United won the basement battle at Fulbourn Institute Bluebirds 4-1 with three goals after the break, while Real Bedford Reserves edged a seven-goal thriller at Newmarket Town. Stevenage Development overcame Mulbarton Wanderers 10-1 with four from Poppy Young, Cambridge City netted the only goal at Colney Heath, and Dunstable Town scored all three at Hitchin Belles.
1 South – Colchester United put five past Stanway Pegasus, Hashtag United Reserves hit six at Southend United to go as many points clear at the top, while Hertford Town held Chelmsford City 3-3. Toby FC versus Brentwood Town was goalless, and Wormley Rovers were 2-1 victors at Needham Market.
EAST MIDLANDS – Grimsby Town Secure Promotion
Premier – Stamford’s Emma Pollard scored three times in a 4-1 win over Wellingborough Town.
1 Central – Long Eaton United are top after beating Coalville Town 2-0 but have played three more games than their title rivals. Basford United moved up two spots to fourth with a 2-1 defeat of Sherwood as substitute Jessica Smith struck on 84 minutes.
1 North – Grimsby Town are champions after their 13th successive win, a 4-1 victory at Dronfield Town. Newark Town also scored four against Cleethorpes Town, while Belper Town drew 1-1 with Arnold Eagles thanks to Alice Faulding’s 88th-minute effort.
1 South – Thrapston’s Amelia Boddington notched a hat-trick in a 4-3 win at Netherton United, Newport Pagnell Town put six past River City, Northampton Town Development claimed a 5-1 victory at Dunton & Broughton United, and Leicester City beat New Bradwell St Peter 3-1.
League Cup Semi-Final – Mansfield Town eliminated Asfordby Amateurs 6-0 and await the winners of the tie between Loughborough Foxes Vixens and Anstey Nomads in the final.
League Plate Semi-Finals – Gainsborough Trinity’s Matilda Van Den Heuvel scored a stoppage-time winner to secure a 2-1 victory at Brackley Town, setting up a final against SJR Worksop, who edged past Nottingham Trent University 3-2.
LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Over 1,000 Watch Title-Chasers Bromley
Premier – Barking came from behind to defeat Dorking Wanderers 5-4, with Emilia Parsons contributing a brace. There were 2-0 wins for Brentford at Ashford Town and Saltdean United home to Millwall Lionesses. Dartford beat Aylesford 4-2, and Ebbsfleet United lost 0-6 to Sutton United.
1 North – Bromley beat AFC Greenwich Borough 2-0 in front of a bumper crowd of 1,053, while leaders Hammersmith scored five against Ashford United. Shakirra Sesay’s double earned Dulwich Hamlet Reserves a 2-2 draw with Actonians Reserves, and 210 fans watched Clapton CFC share six goals with Hackney.

1 South – Saltdean United Development’s 3-1 win at Bexhill United was aided by a Jess Fry double, Bognor Regis Town thrashed Montpelier Villa 6-1, Eastbourne Borough scored all four goals at Hastings United, and Leatherhead defeated Ashmount Leigh 4-2.
NORTH EAST – Handsworth Win Promotion ‘Six-Pointer’
Premier – Bradford City’s 3-0 result against South Shields featured a Hannah Markey brace, while Thornaby were 2-1 winners over Harrogate Town. Wallsend BC won 4-2 at Brunsmeer Athletic, Sunderland West End lost 0-4 to Spennymoor Town, and Ponteland United drew 1-1 with Ossett United.
1 North – Washington suffered a 0-4 defeat to top side Birtley Town, while i2i International Soccer Academy overcame an early setback to claim a 2-1 victory at Norton & Stockton Ancients Reserves. Berwick Rangers drew 1-1 with Hartlepool United, and Park View secured a 3-0 win over Redcar Town.
1 South – Handsworth moved to the top after ending Leeds Modernians’ perfect record with a 2-1 win. Altofts gained ground on third-placed Ilkley Town, beating them 3-1. Phoebe Mae Yung scored the decider as Lower Hopton edged Millmoor 2-1, while Rossington Main won 5-2 at York City Development.
NORTH WEST – Runcorn Dent Nantwich Title Bid
Premier – AFC Fylde went three points clear at the top with a 6-0 victory over Tranmere Rovers, while Darwen leapfrogged West Didsbury & Chorlton into fourth place as Chloe May made it 2-1 in added time.
1 Central – Atherton Laburnum Rovers notched a dozen goals against Radcliffe, who completed their tough campaign without earning a point. The Ashton Town versus Rochdale match was abandoned after an injury to Dale goalkeeper Tan Nash.
1 North – Preston North End are within a point of leaders Bolton Wanderers Reserves after a 6-2 defeat of Haslingden.
1 South – Nantwich Town might have to win their last match to clinch the title after letting slip the lead to lose 2-1 at Runcorn Linnets, who moved up to third. Warrington Town won 3-0 at Wirral Phoenix to take sixth place from them.

Alliance Design & Print League Cup Quarter-Finals – Accrington Stanley knocked out FC United of Manchester 3-1 in front of an attendance of 175, while Chester won 2-1 after extra time at Crewe Alexandra.
Alliance Design & Print League Plate Quarter-Finals – Poulton Vics’ Hollie Evans scored her second goal of the game for a 2-1 extra-time win at Bolton Wanderers Reserves. Bury netted nine past Fleetwood Town Wrens in front of 179 at Gigg Lane, Manchester Laces won by a single goal at Salford City, and FC St. Helens eased through 5-0 at Altrincham.
SOUTHERN – Bournemouth Sports’ Kerr Scores Three in Eight Minutes
Premier – Southampton Women drew the top-two clash with leaders Wycombe Wanderers 0-0, while Winchester City Flyers rose to second with a 3-0 defeat of Oxford City. AFC Portchester climbed to fifth after a 5-0 win over Fleet Town, and Sholing’s Kezia Holmes scored to beat Reading 1-0.
1 North – Denham United defeated Abingdon United Development 4-1 for a 13th straight win, while Farnborough edged 10-player Oxford City Development 3-2, with Poppy Ellis shown a red card. Chesham United Development’s Ruby Slade sealed the win with the last of their four goals in a 15-minute spell for a 4-3 result at Penn & Tylers Green. Kidlington finished four apiece with Ascot United Reserves, and Larkspur Rovers edged Tilehurst Panthers 3-2.
1 South – Farnham Town made it 10 wins in a row with a 6-0 victory at Bemerton Heath Harlequins, moving three points clear of Havant & Waterlooville, who had to settle for a 1-1 home draw with Andover New Street. Bournemouth Sports Reserves’ Charlotte Kerr netted an eight-minute hat-trick in a 6-1 win at AFC Varsity, while Wimborne Town’s Sheree Bell-Jack scored three of their seven goals at Shaftesbury, and AFC Stoneham beat Guernsey 3-1.
Shield Services Group SOUTH WEST – Gloucester City Frustrate Forest Green
Premier – Title-chasing Forest Green Rovers had a crowd of 268 but were held 2-2 at home by Gloucester City on Saturday. Top side Torquay United posted a 9-0 victory over Bishops Lydeard, Sherborne Town scored both goals at Frampton Rangers.

1 North – Corsham Town’s Nancy Silk scored twice in a 3-2 victory over Downend Flyers, while Whitchurch replaced Mangotsfield United in the second with Emily Plummer making it 2-1 at 85 minutes. Meanwhile, Paulton Rovers were 1-0 winners over Gloucester City Reserves.
League Cup Quarter-Final – Poole Town’s Lauren Le Poidevin bagged a brace in a 3-1 victory over Saltash United, securing a semi-final trip to AEK BOCO.
Divisional Cup Quarter-Finals – Cirencester Town sank AFC Brislington 7-1, with Lani Dickinson scoring four and Annie Martin netting the other three. Bitton progressed 2-0 at Wootton Bassett Town, Weston-super-Mare won 3-0 at Stockwood Wanderers, while Bath City beat Feniton 3-1.
1 South Supplementary Cup– Yeovil Town scored all five goals in the game at home against Wells City.
WEST MIDLANDS – Lichfield City Win Despite Red Card
Premier – Lye Town are five points clear after scoring four unanswered goals at Solihull Moors. Shrewsbury Town edged Shifnal Town 3-2, with Alicia Robinson grabbing the decider. Coventry Sphinx beat Leek Town 3-1, Port Vale scored the sole goal against Hednesford Town, and it was 3-3 between Burton Albion and Alvechurch.
1 North – Corinna Williams scored to give Lichfield City a 2-1 win over Chasetown, despite Loren Cooper’s red card after 80 minutes. Newcastle Town’s 7-0 thrashing of Whitchurch Alport featured a Jodie Foxhall hat-trick, while Walsall beat Telford Town 2-0.
1 South – Droitwich Spa netted eight goals against Hereford Pegasus, with three from Libby Drapier, while Halesowen Town’s Bethney Taylor scored four in a 5-1 win at Kingfisher. Knowle’s Darcey Garner grabbed the only goal at Bromsgrove Sporting, and Long Itchington beat Crusaders 3-1 thanks to a Lucy Dale double. Elsewhere, Redditch United won 5-3 over Leamington, and Worcester City Reserves defeated Hereford FC 5-1.
