Cardiff City were 3-1 winners over Wrexham as they lifted the Bute Energy Welsh Cup for the fourth year in a row.

Watched by a crowd of 1,391 at Newport County FC, Cardiff struck twice in the opening half hour through Lily Billingham and Shannon Evans.

Abbie Iddenden halved the deficit before half time with a spot-kick but a second Wrexham penalty taken by Ava Suckley was saved by Ceryn Chamberlain.

Fiona Barry got the third goal for the Bluebirds with 16 minutes to play, as the trophy stayed with Cardiff again.
