The FA have confirmed club allocations for Tiers 1 to 4 for the 2025-26 season, with WSL2 maintaining a 12-team competition.

With Blackburn Rovers are set withdrawing from the Championship (WSL2) and set to compete in the fourth tier, Sheffield United are spared relegation from the second tier.

In the FA WNL top flight both Billericay Town and Halifax escape the drop, while Doncaster Rovers Belles and Portishead Town retain their status at Division 1 level.
