Everton Women have signed right-back Hannah Blundell on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season.

A four-time WSL champion who also lifted the FA Cup twice with Chelsea, as well as once with Manchester United, has three England caps.

Blundell told evertontv: “The way the club is going is something I am looking forward to being a part of. Playing at Goodison Park is fantastic.”

“The conversations I have had with Brian [Sorensen], my profile is what he is looking for. Hopefully, I can bring that to the team and hopefully he can improve me. I am really looking forward to getting going.

“The first conversation I had with him got me really excited to join the club. He is definitely one of the reasons I did. Both of our ambitions aligned, so that made it easy for me to be here.
