Everton have signed England international forward Katie Robinson from Aston Villa on a season-long loan, with an option to make the move permanent.

She made over 50 appearances for Brighton, before joining Aston Villa in 2024 and has also had spells with Bristol City and on loan at Charlton Athletic.

Robinson told evertonfc.com: “I had some really good conversations with the manager, Brian [Sorensen]. I am really excited to get going and give my all for the club.

“Those conversations definitely helped. He is very clear on his identity for the team. That is really important for me – to be a part of a club that has that clear vision. It made me really excited to be a part of. Hopefully the style of Everton can suit my play, too.”

“I am really hoping that, if I can work hard and put in some good performances, I would love to get back in the England squad one day. But, right now, I am just focusing on the day-to-day work and letting the rest take care of itself.

Manager Brian Sorensen said: “Katie is a real talent who has shown her capabilities at Aston Villa and Brighton. She is a direct forward, who loves to get forward and take her marker on.

“Her playing style is attacking and exciting, but she is not afraid to put a tackle in and is aware of her defensive responsibilities. She will bolster our attack and provide an extra threat down the wings.

“She is a very humble person and I admire her desire to grow as a player. I know she will give her all and I am sure our fans will take to her immediately.”
