England Women Under-23s head coach Emma Coates has selected a 23-player squad for their final matches of 2025.

The Young Lionesses will play Norway in a WU23 European competition fixture at the Joie Stadium, home of Manchester City Women, on Thursday 27 November, before welcoming the USA to Accrington Stanley’s Wham Stadium on Monday 1 December. Tickets for both 7pm kick-offs can be purchased directly from the clubs or via wembleystadium.com/tickets.

The WU23s last played Norway away from home in a 0-0 draw last November, whilst the matchup in Lancashire will mark the first time England has played the USA in the WU23 age category since 2018.

Emma Coates said: “We’re looking forward to finishing the year with two home fixtures. Playing in front of our own fans always gives the players a real lift, and we’re hoping for strong support at both matches. The USA game, in particular, will feel like a special occasion – we don’t often get the chance to play global opponents in this age category, so it will offer the squad a fresh and different challenge.

“2025 has been another positive year for our Young Lionesses, with seven WU23s players making the transition to the senior squad and earning their first call ups – most recently Anouk Denton and Freya Godfrey. It’s really exciting to think about who’s going to be next.”
