Manchester United lead the 23-strong table on goal difference after the first round of matches, following a 10-1 thrashing of Sheffield United, while Durham are at the bottom of Barclays WSL2 after four straight defeats.
Crystal Palace face local rivals Charlton, Brian Sorensen takes charge of Aston Villa after the departure of their manager for the home tie with Newcastle United, who have a 100% record in BWSL2.
Ipswich take on London City, Southampton also go up against top-flight opposition as they travel to West Ham.
Birmingham City face Liverpool, and another all-WSL game sees Brighton entertain Spurs.
After all teams play their six matches, the top eight clubs move on to the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, Arsenal are away to Paris FC on Wednesday (5.45pm), while Chelsea play at Lyon (8pm), before Manchester City host Real Madrid on Thursday, 1 October with an 8pm kick off.
