Derby County Women have signed full-back Ebonie Locke on loan from Birmingham City for the rest of the 2025/26 season.

She joined the Blues at U-10 level and was their Under-21s’ Player of the Season last term as they won the PGA Cup.

Going on to make her first-team debut in the League Cup, she then signed her first professional deal in July 2025.

This season, she has made one appearance each in the Subway Women’s League Cup and Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

Locke told dcfc.co.uk: “I’m excited for this new challenge. I’m ready to test myself and express myself at a new level in Tier 3.

“Hopefully, I can bring something different to the team here and have an impact to help us climb our way up the table in the second half of the season.

“I’m a full-back who loves to join the attack. I also love the thrill of a 1v1 in defence and the battle of the game. I can’t wait to get started and go out to fight for this team.”
